Born in 1958, Ann Haaland is a mixed media artist maintaining a Hudson Valley studio at the Shirt Factory Building in Kingston NY. Her fine art career spans more than four decades, and includes painting, collage, drawing, printmaking, digital work, textile design and writing. A 1980 graduate of the State University College of New York at Oneonta, Ann holds a dual BA in both Studio Art and Business Economics.
Ann is member of MAD (the Midtown Arts Association Kingston) as well as Arts Mid-Hudson. She’s also an on-going printmaker at the Woodstock School of Art, a previous artist-in-residence at the Vermont Studio Center, and a recipient of the 2002 Lucille Blanche Award from the Woodstock Arts Association and Museum. She resides in Highland, NY.
